Research and Education:
The purpose of the NBTS grant program, Assistance Listing 10.527, is to increase the retention and graduation rate of tribal students attending 1994, 1862, and 1890 Land-Grant universities. The NBTS grant program may support tribal students by fostering a path from secondary to postsecondary education to allow for an inviting space for tribal students to attend Land-Grant colleges and universities.
MUREP INCLUDES coalitions endeavor to apply numerous approaches to expand the awareness and involvement of URMs in engineering with a focus on cultural competence.
The activities funded by BETO through this funding opportunity will mobilize public clean energy investment by addressing research and development (R&D) challenges in the conversion of various seaweeds and blends of seaweeds (with wet waste feedstocks such as waste microalgae) to low-carbon fuels and chemicals.
Energy and Environment:
The purpose of this solicitation is to deploy advanced decarbonization and/or grid support technologies at California industrial facilities to promote electrification and reduce GHG emissions produced from the industrial sector. This solicitation will target technologies that have the potential to demonstrate cost-effectiveness and scalable to multiple industrial facilities with potential to increase confidence for adoption.
To help create sustainable urban forests across the state, $30.8 million in funding will be available to support urban and community forestry projects in historically disinvested urban communities throughout California.
FSA is announcing the availability of cooperative agreement funding for up to $10 million to monitor, assess, and evaluate conservation approaches and technologies in conjunction with the Conservation Reserve Program.
The purpose of this solicitation is to fund a project that will evaluate the feasibility of using existing underground gas storage facilities to store clean renewable hydrogen in California.
This NOFO includes two sub-programs: the School Bus Sub-Program and the Vocational Vehicles Sub-Program. The purpose of the program is to support states and tribes with implementing youth (up to age 24) suicide prevention and early intervention strategies in schools, educational institutions, juvenile justice systems, substance use programs, mental health programs, foster care systems, pediatric health programs, and other child- and youth-serving organizations.
The purpose of this program is to recruit, train, and support master’s and doctoral-level students in behavioral health care professions to address services disparities for racial and ethnic minority populations.
Community Development & Commerce:
Proposition 47 requires that these funds be awarded to public agencies to provide mental health services, substance use disorder treatment and/or diversion programs for those in the criminal justice system.
The Cooperator program is designed to maintain and develop foreign markets for United States agricultural commodities and products through cost–share assistance.
This opportunity is intended to foster expanded exports and market diversification by encouraging the development, maintenance, and expansion of diverse commercial export markets for United States agricultural commodities and products. Assistance may be provided for either generic or brand promotion activities.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit input for a potential ARPA-E program focused on the feasibility and impact of retrofitting an existing aircraft with electric powertrains developed under ARPA-E’s Aviation-class Synergistically Cooled Electric-motors with integrated Drives (ASCEND) program for a full integration with the aircraft and to show full functionality of the electric powertrain.
