Open Solicitations:

Environment and Energy

The purpose of this solicitation is to provide funding for Tribes, Tribal Organizations, and Tribally-owned businesses for EV Charging Infrastructure, Planning, and Workforce Training and Development.

This annual funding opportunity will award $6.5 million for seedling R&D projects that focus on innovative and novel ideas in photovoltaics (PV) and concentrating solar-thermal power (CSP) and are riskier than research ideas based on established technologies.

Health and Community Development

The primary objective of this funding opportunity is to expand the availability of MUs and MNTPs, to increase MOUD access for rural areas, justice-involved populations, Indigenous and Native communities, patients without transportation, and areas that do not have a Narcotic Treatment Program (NTP) within close proximity to patients in need of NTP services.

FPIP will accelerate the adoption of advanced energy efficiency and decarbonization energy technologies that support achieving the state’s long-term GHG emissions reduction goals while maximizing other co-benefits.

This webinar is intended to help potential rural and Tribal applicants successfully compete for the FY 2024 RAISE Discretionary Grant Program. Update: Find a recording of this webinar here.

Education and R&D

Funding under this grant will support capacity-building activities designed to improve and enhance the language immersion program’s ability to achieve its mission.

This funding opportunity invites new or renewal grant applications from consortia partnerships consisting of Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) with a focus on building and supporting the workforce capacity of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE).

This Program aims to improve the environmental sustainability of those schools by reducing school energy loads, decarbonizing their building portfolio, improving indoor air quality (IAQ), and providing clean energy educational opportunities.

The Innovations in Graduate Education (IGE) Program is designed to encourage development and implementation of bold, new, and potentially transformative approaches to STEM graduate education training.

The Campus Cyberinfrastructure (CC*) program invests in coordinated campus-level cyberinfrastructure improvements, innovation, integration, and engineering for science applications and distributed research projects.

The mission of EPSCoR is to assist the National Science Foundation in its statutory function "to strengthen research and education in science and engineering throughout the United States and to avoid undue concentration of such research and education."

The primary goal of the ECosystem for Leading Innovation in Plasma Science and Engineering (ECLIPSE) program is to identify and capitalize on opportunities for bringing fundamental plasma science investigations to bear on problems of societal and technological need within the scope of science and engineering supported by the participating NSF programs.

The ExpandQISE program helps build and maintain a close connection between new efforts and existing impactful work in research, research training, education, outreach, and broadening participation done at the existing QISE Centers.

Requests for Information:

This RFI seeks insight into the resources and support needed, through its existing or expanded work, to ensure successful outcomes of solar and storage deployment serving low-income and disadvantaged communities.

MassCEC seeks input and information related to needs and gaps pertaining to ocean renewable energy (ORE) testing and validation assets and sites. Stakeholders have identified high value in accessing offshore ocean testing site(s) and assets to support validation and performance testing of new technologies.
